Life is complicated. Especially now. With travel restrictions, lockdowns, regulation changes and quarantines, it’s no wonder that when it comes to relocation, anxiety levels are high and confidence is low.

But whatever the challenges, companies still need to relocate their employees. And you need a provider you can trust to provide reliable, one-to-one destination support in every case.

You already know who we are. With two decades of experience and consultants working across six continents, we're experts at getting employees wired into their new cities efficiently and pain-free. Our award-winning services prove we’ve mastered the art of making meaningful one-to-one connections, using a perfect combination of the latest technology and the human touch.

So, when the lockdowns started and other providers were grounded, we kept working. Our local city consultants simply switched to virtual assignee support: researching schools and properties, coordinating registrations, and generally delivering the same expert destination services we’ve been offering for almost 20 years. Connecting electronically.

As a remote-first company, working this way is nothing new – it’s what we’ve always done! But while we might be working virtually, we’re never far away. Each of our 380 consultants is based in the assignee’s destination city, not on the other side of the world, so we can still provide all those insider tips and tricks that help new arrivals get up and running fast in their new hometown.

So, how does this all work?   
 
Introducing Virtually-there

We can provide a range of streamlined virtual services that are fully responsive to COVID-19 lockdowns. Our basic package includes the following options:


Arrival and Departure Assistance

We’ll conduct a needs assessment call and coordinate any airport collections or drop-offs.

Settling-in Service
We’ll outline relevant local insights and provide a settling-in guide to assist with registration, banking, driving licences and utility accounts. We can provide overviews of health services and local school system.

Grocery and Food Options
We’ll detail local grocery stores and restaurants that offer home delivery and even book an initial delivery to stock the cupboards for the assignee’s arrival. We can also help with setting up accounts and placing a first order.

Scheduling and Itinerary Services
We’ll make appointments and create an itinerary for viewing properties, schools and any other scheduled items.

Virtual Home Finding Services  
We’ll provide an overview of the local rental market and residential neighbourhoods, leasing tips and help source a shortlist of suitable properties for the assignee to review. Once the decision is made, we’ll review the lease and help process it to completion.

In addition to these basic services, we can also offer tailored support such as a virtual school search or, should local regulations allow, in person support for a city tour or to accompany appointments. Similarly, should assignees need to leave the city quickly due to changing circumstances, we can coordinate emergency departure services, from notifying the landlord, through cleaning and repairs, to arranging account closures.

And as with all Virtually-there services, we’ll give complimentary access to our detailed online city guides, GT2go. From visiting a bar to buying a car, finding a school or a swimming pool, we’ll show assignees how things work in their city. And unlike a web search, it’s all been checked by our expert consultants who live there.
